Revenue from operations jumped 49.52% year on year to Rs 1,720.92 crore in the quarter ended 31 March 2022. Profit before tax soared 115% to Rs 618.2 crore in Q4 FY22 from Rs 287.17 crore posted in Q4 FY21.
Total expenses were up by 44.53% year on year to Rs 1,325.98 in the quarter ended 31 March 2022. Cost of raw materials consumed rose 31.35% year on year to Rs 1,024.81 crore during the period under the review.
On full year basis, the packaging company reported 51.25% surge in net profit to Rs 1,196.23 crore on a 43.98% in net sales to Rs 5,877.58 crore in the financial year ended 31 March 2022 over the financial year ended 31 March 2021.
The board recommended a dividend of Rs 5 per equity share for the financial year ended 31 March 2022.
