The refinancing rate was retained at 2.15 percent and the marginal lending rate at 2.40 percent. The previous change in Eurozone interest rates was a quarter-point reduction in June. The ECB Governing Council statement noted that a robust labour market, solid private-sector balance sheets, and the effects of past rate cuts have all contributed to supporting growth, reflecting the region's economic resilience.
