Among the components of the S&P BSE FMCG Sector index, Nath Bio-Genes (India) Ltd (down 3.75%), Varun Beverages Ltd (down 3.27%),Tasty Bite Eatables Ltd (down 2.97%),Apex Frozen Foods Ltd (down 2.7%),DCM Shriram Industries Ltd (down 2.57%), were the top losers. Among the other losers were Mishtann Foods Ltd (down 2.52%), GRM Overseas Ltd (down 2.37%), Vadilal Industries Ltd (down 2.35%), Kokuyo Camlin Ltd (down 2.21%), and CCL Products (India) Ltd (down 2.1%).
On the other hand, Hatsun Agro Product Ltd (up 4.86%), BCL Industries Ltd (up 4.3%), and Agro Tech Foods Ltd (up 3.16%) turned up.
At 13:45 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 61.97 or 0.1% at 63080.99.
The Nifty 50 index was down 23.5 points or 0.13% at 18702.9.
The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was down 76.67 points or 0.24% at 31457.01.
The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was down 32.61 points or 0.34% at 9679.01.
On BSE,1474 shares were trading in green, 2007 were trading in red and 118 were unchanged.
