Among the components of the S&P BSE Healthcare index, Kopran Ltd (down 4.61%), Nureca Ltd (down 3.66%),Neuland Laboratories Ltd (down 3.61%),Rainbow Childrens Medicare Ltd (down 3.42%),SMS Pharmaceuticals Ltd (down 2.71%), were the top losers. Among the other losers were Tarsons Products Ltd (down 2.47%), Supriya Lifescience Ltd (down 2.4%), Themis Medicare Ltd (down 2.39%), Strides Pharma Science Ltd (down 2.09%), and Sun Pharmaceuticals Industries Ltd (down 2.03%).
On the other hand, Alembic Pharmaceuticals Ltd (up 5.91%), Caplin Point Laboratories Ltd (up 5%), and Kovai Medical Center & Hospital Ltd (up 3.48%) moved up.
At 13:45 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 61.97 or 0.1% at 63080.99.
The Nifty 50 index was down 23.5 points or 0.13% at 18702.9.
The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was down 76.67 points or 0.24% at 31457.01.
The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was down 32.61 points or 0.34% at 9679.01.
