MCX Gold futures are trading on a positive note today. The benchmark Oct-26 contract is slightly higher by 0.47% at Rs 153840 per 10 grams. The intraday range was Rs 152304-154696 per 10 grams.The counter has improved by 0.39% over last one-week.The open interest in the counter jumped by 4.20% to 32447 lots.
Silver is firmer by 1.07% at Rs 242387 per kg. The open interest in the counter eased by 1.65% to 32771 lots. The metal edged higher by 1.44% in last session.
In global equities, US markets are expected to open in red. DOW futures slipped 0.26%. In Europe, DAX Performance Index lost 0.93% and FTSE 100 retreated 1.07%.
