MCX Copper futures are are showing modest gains, up 0.34% at Rs 1400 per kg right now. The counter was down 0.01% in the day session till 6.00 PM. MCX Copper futures touched an intraday high of Rs 1405 per kg today and have seen a 2.01% reduction in the open interest. US equities are modestly lower with NASDAQ Composite is trading slightly lower by 0.15% on the day.MCX Copper is up for fourth consecutive session.
In other metals, Lead is modestly higher by 0.77% at Rs 197 per kg, Zinc is up 0.68% at Rs 431 per kg, Aluminium is marginally higher by 0.07% at Rs 353 per kg while Nickel is marginally higher by 0.01% at Rs 1598 per kg.
MCX Zinc is up around 3% in the last one week followed by Copper, gaining around 1.63%.
